Domain Registration - how things have changed

By ShowMeTheMoney | February 12, 2006

Just been over at http://www.godaddy.com registering 6 new domains for a mini site project we have just started. It struck me how far things have progressed in terms of how cheap and fast you can set up a new domain these days. A one year registration is just $8.95. I remember when we registered our first domains back in the mid to late 90’s. It was like some sort of “black hat” secret guru art and bloody expensive as well, especially registering .com ’s when you were located in the UK. These days you can make submissions in bulk, and the things are virtually throw away in some respects!
