Adwords difficulty
By ShowMeTheMoney | April 13, 2006
Been a difficult 10 days or so on the affiliate marketing front. As I said in my previous post my best selling product was pulled by the vendor and I had to swap to another. Then a couple of days later my top google campaigns came to a sudden halt as all the bid prices for the keywords went through the roof. Some went from $0.20 to $10, yes really! Think what actually happened was some sort of campaign review by Google. Anyway I did a bit of tweaking but before I had really got to the bottom of what was going on the bid prices all droped back again and the campaigns were back live. What it does highlite is the fact you cant be complacent in monitoring stuff. This week we have been setting up some new campaigns on the MSN adcenter. Its still a bit hit and miss traffic wise but sales look promising. Overture is rock solid, only minor adjustements required.
