MSN - 1 in 20
By ShowMeTheMoney | April 25, 2006
MSN turned in a daily sales record for me last night. We have been really hammering it testing a number of different clicikbank products on MSN. Its surprising what converts and what doesnt. Products you feel sure should sell well often dont, and the reverse is true. I am not saying its all trial and error. You still obviously need to make some intelligent decisons on what to promote but at the end of the day its mostly a question of testing that selects the right product. I would say only 1 in 20 of the campaigns we test ends up becoming a profit generator. A lot of that may because we are not that good at writing Ad’s and landing pages! Anway got a nice campaign running on MSN now for a market thats been impossible to break into on Adwords and Overture because of price and the sheer amount of competition.
Just been investigating some interesting ideas in terms of buying and selling websites. “Virtual Real Estate” is going to be big. Believe me with the right amount of targeted traffic you can sell pretty much any product on the internet. Buying an existing site for the traffic and then properly promoting a product via the site is a technique being increasingly used by the top marketers.
