Exchange Rate Woes

By ShowMeTheMoney | May 16, 2006

Today is Clickbank payday. We dont get Clickbank cheques (checks (!) for US readers)anymore as we have three CB accounts and a pretty hefty turnover we have payments wired direct to our account here in the UK. These come in as regular as clockwork from CB. One disadvantage of the wired method is that we have no control on when the payment enters the account. As the US dollar seems to be on the slide against most other curriences this last week, the US to GBP exchange rate is really hurting us. At least with a cheque we could have hung on for a bit to see if theres an improvement. Mind you we use to be lucky if the cheques arrived at all and the enevelopes had nearly always come open in the post from the US.

MSN Adcentre is now open to anyone to sign up. I think that is ahead of schedule which must be a bloody first for Microsoft! The interface still seems pretty bug ridden though so don’t be too surprised if it all comes down around your ears!

Had an email for Yahoo search marketing (Overture) about the up comming interface changes (see last post). Looks great,  lets see if they can actually deliver though.
