I wrote a post a few weeks ago about “Tag and Ping” which is basically adding your new sites and pages to your list of bookmarks at sites such as del.icio.us and furl. A useful tool to update multiple social bookmarking sites is Onlywire which posts to up to 15 of the most popular sites. The bookmarking sites are regularly trawled by the search engine bots so are a good source for incoming links to the sites you want to promote.
