Why AdCentre SUCKS!

By ShowMeTheMoney | September 18, 2006

Ive just spent an extremely frustrating two hours trying to change various aspects of my campaigns on MSN ad centre, and I am going to vent my spleen. Lets make no bones about it AdCentre sucks, and sucks badly. Its not got a bad interface, the costs are generally less than AdWords and Yahoo, hell it makes me money. So why does it suck? Because its no exaggeration to say that I have never yet logged in and tried to change something and not at some stage been bombed out! Its not just once or twice or on certain functions (although I find the report section is notoriously flaky) the whole platform for me is just completely unstable. Have the guys who develop this actually tried to use it outside of their mega development lab? They should spend an afternoon sat with me for some real word feedback! I cant believe this is just me, come on MSN you are suppose to be out of beta now, pull your finger out and make the frigging thing work like it should. You have more resources and wads of cash available than the economies of most third world countries. I am sick of struggling with the thing and I have given up reporting errors because nothing ever changes. And its so God damn slow, Id gladly give up half the functionality if it were just reasonably fast. If I am paying over my money then I expect the frigging thing to function as it says on the tin, no excuses.
