7 Hour Traffic Jam Nightmare!

No I am not talking about a new method of getting unprecedented traffic to your website. I wish I were. I have just spent the best part of the day sat on the M6 Motorway. Thats 7 hours to travel about errr 25 miles, give up and drive back home. For those who dont know the UK the M6 is the major road system up the west side of England. Anyway it brought some of the reasons I decided to try and make a living online sharply back into focus. I think seven hours is a record for me, I have been in some pretty bad traffic jams but this was the mother of them all!
Last year I made the best part of my living from Clickbank sales. I am however still involved in a real world I.T business with my brother and today we should have been doing a job in central Birmingham. The day was a complete write off as it was I suspect for the thousands of others who sat it their cars all day gazing at the Cheshire coutryside. To be honest it never ceases to amaze me how patiently every one sits there in this sort of situation, probably no where else in the world would this happen other than the U.K. In most countries after an hour it would probably be a cross between world war three and the film Falling Down! Anyway like I said, it did make me reflect on just how good an online business is in terms of lifestyle. Dont get me wrong you do have to work hard sometimes. But at the end of the day:- you get paid by people you never meet, from countries you have never visited, often with no actual products of your own while lying in bed asleep a lot of the time. So, lets see, hmmm, drive to Birmingham or stay in bed? You choose..
